EDUCATION (Horizontes sin Límites Ixil)

The Coffee Trust has supported the construction of a secondary school in San Gaspar Chajul. The school, built by Horizontes sin Limites (HLI), will eventually have six classes of 120 students. These students have access to a first-class education in San Gaspar Chajul, which has been unheard of until now in the region. The students will complete Diversificado, which parallels a US high school education curriculum.
